She is a great fan of George who tries to embark a career in Hollywood. As time goes on, George's career is threatened by the introduction of talking films. He is not prepared for these changes. People lose interest in him as they are becoming more and more fascinated with talking films and its rising star, Peppy Miller. Things will turn upside down between these two individuals.

Reaction:

The Artist is a brilliantly made silent film. In this modern time in which films are trying to compete based on excessive special effects, The Artist certainly made a difference. You cannot really compare this film to those silent films in the early times which made Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford and several others, famous. Those were great films during their era. The Artist gives rise to a genius craft in the modern times. It does not need several special effects, cheesy storyline, skimpy clad hot actors and actresses and several stuffs just to entice the viewers to watch it. It is a story that can evoke several emotions. I really got entertained during the entire time I watched the film. I cried and laughed with the actors.

Jean Dujardin definitely deserves an Oscar award. He simply owns the big screen together with Berenice Bejo. He got the charisma, a winsome smile and a "classic" look making him just the perfect actor to portray as George Valentin. His facial expressions are superb and genuine, it is not forcefully nor overly done. Berenice Bejo...what can I say... she's got that WOW factor. She can definitely dance and she exudes a positive aura. Both actors were able to portray their characters splendidly. Jean was able to show the character of a proud man who lost his shine while Berenice was simply happy at what she was doing. Two opposing characters that would totally compliment each other. Their love story is fun and playful. And before I forget, George's dog deserve a big complement for he grabbed the attention of the viewers.

Now, one word for its musical score...MAGNIFICENT. Need I say more? The costumes and all those specific details like the location are meticulously  made according to the era they presented.

In conclusion, I can say that this film goes to one of my favorite movies of all time. I have great words for this film and if I go on to telling them, it would take me more than just this page to describe them. I would highly recommend you to watch this film. After all, it is not all the time that we get lucky having to watch this kind of film nowadays.
